³⁴ Righteousness exalts a nation,
    but sin is a reproach to any people.

⁶ In the house of the righteous there is much treasure,
    but trouble befalls the income of the wicked.

⁹ The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
    but he loves him ^(A)who pursues righteousness.

⁷ When a man's ways please the Lord,
    ^(A)he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

¹³ If anyone ^(A)returns evil for good,
    ^(B)evil will not depart from his house.
