¹² He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour:
    but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

¹⁸ There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword:
    but the tongue of the wise is health.

⁴ A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
    but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

²⁷ An ungodly man diggeth up evil:
    and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

²³ The north wind driveth away rain:
so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.

² As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying,
so the curse causeless shall not come.
