63 These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the Israelites in the rift valley plains[a] of Moab along the Jordan River opposite Jericho. 64 But there was not a man among these who had been[b] among those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the desert of Sinai. 65 For the Lord had said of them, “They will surely die in the wilderness.” And there was not left a single man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

No man will survive from them except Jephunneh’s son Caleb and Nun’s son Joshua.”
