8 “‘And you[a] shall count for yourself seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years, and they shall be for you time periods of[b] years: forty-nine[c] years. 9 And you[d] shall cause a loud horn blast[e] to be heard on the seventh month on the tenth of the month; on the Day of Atonement you[f] shall cause a ram’s horn to be heard in all your[g] land. 10 And you[h] shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and you shall proclaim a release in the land for all its inhabitants. It is a Jubilee; it shall be for you, and you shall return. You must return—everyone to his property and everyone to his clan.[i] 11 You[j] shall have the fiftieth year as a Jubilee;[k] you must not reap its aftergrowth, and you must not harvest its unpruned vines. 12 Because it is a Jubilee, it shall be holy to you. You must eat its[l] produce from the field.

8 ‘You are also to count off seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven Sabbaths of years, that is, forty-nine years. 9 You shall then sound a ram’s horn [a]abroad on (A)the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall sound a horn all through your land. 10 So you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and (B)proclaim [b]a release throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, [c]and (C)each of you shall return to his own property, [d]and each of you shall return to his family. 11 You shall have the fiftieth year as a jubilee; you shall not sow, nor harvest its aftergrowth, nor gather grapes from its untrimmed vines. 12 For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you.
