Leviticus 19:26-29

New International Version

²⁶“‘Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.^(A)

“‘Do not practice divination^(B) or seek omens.^(C)

²⁷“‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.^(D)

²⁸“‘Do not cut^(E) your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.

²⁹“‘Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute,^(F) or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness.^(G)

You shall not practice ^(B)divination nor soothsaying. ²⁷^(C)You shall not round off the ^[a]hairline of your heads, nor trim the edges of your beard. ²⁸You shall not make any cuts in your ^[b]body for the ^[c]dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.

²⁹‘^(D)Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land does not fall into prostitution, and the land does not become full of outrageous sin.
