Ibzan, Elon, and Abdon

After him Ibzan from Bethlehem judged Israel. He had thirty sons. He gave his thirty daughters away in marriage outside his clan and brought in from outside thirty young women for his sons. He judged Israel for seven years. 10 Then[a] Ibzan died and was buried in Bethlehem.

Ibzan, Israel’s Ninth Judge

After he died,[a] Ibzan from Bethlehem governed Israel for ten years. He had 30 sons and 30 daughters, but he gave his daughters[b] in marriage to outsiders and brought in 30 outsiders[c] for his sons. He governed Israel for seven years, 10 then he died and was buried in Bethlehem.
