Joshua 19:49-51

New International Version

Allotment for Joshua

⁴⁹When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them, ⁵⁰as the Lord had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for—Timnath Serah^[a]^(A) in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.

⁵¹These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And so they finished dividing^(B) the land.^(C)

Joshua’s Inheritance

⁴⁹When they had ^[a]made an end of dividing the land as an inheritance according to their borders, the children of Israel gave an inheritance among them to Joshua the son of Nun. ⁵⁰According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city which he asked for, ^(A)Timnath ^(B)Serah in the mountains of Ephraim; and he built the city and dwelt in it.

⁵¹^(C)These were the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel divided as an inheritance by lot ^(D)in Shiloh before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. So they made an end of dividing the country.
