Job 9:21-24
New International Version
21 “Although I am blameless,(A)
I have no concern for myself;(B)
I despise my own life.(C)
22 It is all the same; that is why I say,
‘He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.’(D)
23 When a scourge(E) brings sudden death,
he mocks the despair of the innocent.(F)
24 When a land falls into the hands of the wicked,(G)
he blindfolds its judges.(H)
If it is not he, then who is it?(I)

21 “I’m blameless;
I don’t know myself;
I despise my life.
22 I say it’s all the same—
he destroys both the blameless and the guilty.[a]
23 If a calamity[b] causes sudden death,
he’ll mock at the despair of the innocent.
24 A land is given into the hands of a wicked person;[c]
he covers the faces of its judges.
If it is not God,[d] then who is it?”
