Job 7:6-10
New International Version
6 “My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle,(A)
and they come to an end without hope.(B)
7 Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath;(C)
my eyes will never see happiness again.(D)
8 The eye that now sees me will see me no longer;
you will look for me, but I will be no more.(E)
9 As a cloud vanishes(F) and is gone,
so one who goes down to the grave(G) does not return.(H)
10 He will never come to his house again;
his place(I) will know him no more.(J)
Job 7:6-10

7 “Remember that my life (C)is a mere breath;
My eye will (D)not see goodness again.
8 The (E)eye of him who sees me will no longer look at me;
Your eyes will be on me, but (F)I will not exist.
9 When a (G)cloud vanishes, it is gone;
In the same way (H)one who goes down to [a](I)Sheol does not come up.
10 He will not return to his house again,
Nor will (J)his place know about him anymore.
