Elihu Speaks of God’s Dealings with Mankind
36 Then Elihu continued and said,
2 “Wait for me a little, and I will show you
That there [a]is still more to be said on God’s behalf.
3 I will bring my knowledge from afar,
And ascribe (A)righteousness to my Maker.
4 For truly (B)my words are not false;
One who is (C)perfect in knowledge is with you.

Elihu Concludes His Arguments
36 Elihu responded again and said:
2 “Be patient with me a moment longer,
and I’ll show you that there’s more to say on God’s behalf.
3 I’ll take what I know to its logical conclusion[a]
and ascribe righteousness to my Creator,
4 because what I have to say isn’t deceptive,
and the one who has perfect knowledge is with you.”
