Jeremiah 5:30-31

30 An appalling and (A)horrible thing
has happened in the land:
31 (B)the prophets prophesy falsely,
and the priests rule at their direction;
(C)my people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?

30 A horrible and shocking thing
has happened in this land—
31 the prophets give false prophecies,
and the priests rule with an iron hand.
Worse yet, my people like it that way!
