10 This is what the Lord says to this people: “So much they have (A)loved to wander; they have not (B)restrained their feet. Therefore the Lord does (C)not accept them; now He will (D)remember their wrongdoing and call their sins to account.” 11 So the Lord said to me, “(E)Do not pray for a good outcome on behalf of this people. 12 When they fast, I am (F)not going to listen to their cry; and when they offer (G)burnt offering and grain offering, I am not going to accept them. Rather, I am going to (H)put an end to them by the (I)sword, famine, and plague.”

10 This is what the Lord proclaims about this people:
Since they have loved to wander off
    and haven’t restrained themselves,
        I[a] won’t accept them.
Now I will recall their wrongdoing
    and punish their sin.

11 The Lord said to me: Don’t pray for the safety of these people. 12 When they fast, I won’t pay attention to their pleas, and when they offer entirely burned offerings and grain offerings, I won’t accept them. Instead, I will devour them with war, famine, and disease.
