10 I will (A)rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will be joyful in (B)my God;
For He has (C)clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a groom puts on a turban,
And (D)as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the (E)earth produces its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,

  1. Isaiah 61:11 Heb YHWH, usually rendered Lord

Rejoicing in God’s Deliverance

10 “I will heartily rejoice in the Lord,
    my soul will delight in my God;
for he has wrapped me in garments of salvation;
    he has arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
just like a bridegroom,
    like a priest[a] with a garland,
        and like a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For just as the soil brings forth its shoots,
    and as a garden makes what is sown within it spring up,
so the Lord God[b] will make righteousness and praise
    spring up before all the nations for Zion’s sake.”[c]
