Isaiah 55:6-9
Lexham English Bible
6 Seek Yahweh while he lets himself be found;[a]
call him while he is[b] near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the man of sin his thoughts.
And let him return to Yahweh, that[c] he may take pity on him,
and to our God, for he will forgive manifold.[d]
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways,”
declares[e] Yahweh.
9 “For as the heavens are higher[f] than the earth,
so my ways are higher[g] than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:6-9
Common English Bible
6 Seek the Lord when he can still be found;
call him while he is yet near.
7 Let the wicked abandon their ways
and the sinful their schemes.
Let them return to the Lord so that he may have mercy on them,
to our God, because he is generous with forgiveness.
8 My plans aren’t your plans,
nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
9 Just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my plans than your plans.
