Isaiah 54:9-10
Lexham English Bible
9 “For this is like the waters of Noah to me,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again pass[a] over the earth,
so I swore that I would not be[b] angry at you and rebuke you.
10 For the mountains may depart,
and the hills may sway,
but[c] my faithfulness shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not sway,”
says Yahweh, who has compassion on you,

New Living Translation
9 “Just as I swore in the time of Noah
that I would never again let a flood cover the earth,
so now I swear
that I will never again be angry and punish you.
10 For the mountains may move
and the hills disappear,
but even then my faithful love for you will remain.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
