“You were sold for nothing,

Its rulers howl,” declares[c] Yahweh—“and my name is reviled continually, all day. 6 Therefore my people shall know my name, therefore in that day, that I am the one who speaks. Here am I.”[d]

Isaiah 52:3-6
International Standard Version
3 For this is what the Lord says: “You were sold for nothing, and you’ll be redeemed without money.”
4 For this is what the Lord[a] says: “My people went down long ago into Egypt to live[b] there; the Assyrian, too, has oppressed them without cause.

Those who rule over them are deluded,”[e] says the Lord, “and continuously, all the day long, my name is blasphemed. 6 Therefore my people will know my name; in that day[f] they’ll know that it is I who speaks, ‘Here I am!’
