Isaiah 2:6-9
Lexham English Bible
6 For you have forsaken your people, house of Jacob,
because they are full[a] from the east,
and of soothsayers like the Philistines,
and they make alliances[b] with the offspring of foreigners.
7 And its land is filled with silver and gold,
and there is no end to its treasures;
and its land is filled with horses,
and there is no end to its chariots.
8 Its land is filled with idols;
they bow down to the work of their[c] hands,
to what they made with their[d] fingers.
9 So humanity is humbled;
everyone is humbled,
and you must not forgive them.

Isaiah 2:6-9
American Standard Version
6 For thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they are filled with customs from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners. 7 And their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots. 8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made. 9 And the mean man [a]is bowed down, and the great man [b]is brought low: therefore forgive them not.
