Isaiah 2:18-21

18 And the idols shall pass away entirely,
19 and they will enter into the caves of the rocks
and into the holes of the ground
from the presence of the terror of Yahweh
and from the glory of his majesty
when he rises[a] to terrify the earth.
20 On that day humanity will throw away its idols of silver
and its idols of gold,
which they made for it to worship,
to the rodents[b] and to the bats—
21 to enter into the crevices of the rocks
and into the clefts of the crags
from the presence of the terror of Yahweh
and from the glory of his majesty,
when he rises[c] to terrify the earth.

18 (A)And the idols shall utterly pass away.
19 (B)And people shall enter the caves of the rocks
and the holes of the ground,[a]
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
(C)when he rises to terrify the earth.
20 In that day (D)mankind will cast away
their idols of silver and their idols of gold,
which they made for themselves to worship,
to the moles and to the (E)bats,
21 (F)to enter the caverns of the rocks
and the clefts of the cliffs,
from before the terror of the Lord,
and from the splendor of his majesty,
(G)when he rises to terrify the earth.
