Hosea 9:9-10
New King James Version
9 (A)They are deeply corrupted,
As in the days of (B)Gibeah.
He will remember their iniquity;
He will punish their sins.
10 “I found Israel
Like grapes in the (C)wilderness;
I saw your fathers
As the (D)firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season.
But they went to (E)Baal Peor,
And [a]separated themselves to that shame;
(F)They became an abomination like the thing they loved.

10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first-ripe in the fig-tree at its first season: but they came to Baal-peor, and [a]consecrated themselves unto the [b]shameful thing, and became abominable like that which they loved.
