Ephraim’s Guilt

11 For you also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed,
    when I restore the fortunes of my people,

when I would heal Israel,
and the corruption of Ephraim is revealed,
    and the wicked deeds of Samaria;
because they deal in falsehood,
    the thief breaks in,[a]
    and the bandit raids the outside.
But they did not consider[b]
    that I remember all their wickedness.
Now their deeds surround them;
    they are before my face.

11 Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for thee, when I [a]bring back the captivity of my people.

When I would heal Israel, then is the iniquity of Ephraim uncovered, and the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief entereth in, and the troop of robbers [b]ravageth without. And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face.
