The Restoration of Israel

10 [a]Yet the number of the people of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor numbered, and in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the living God.”(A) 11 The people of Judah and the people of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head, and they shall rise up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.(B)

[b]Say to your brothers, “Ammi,”[c] and to your sisters, “Ruhamah.”[d]

10 [a]Despite this, the number of the people of Israel will be like ocean sand, which can neither be measured nor counted. And the time will come when instead of it being said,[b] ‘You are not my people,’ it will be said,[c] ‘You are children of the living God.’ 11 [d]And the people of Judah and the people of Israel will be united as one. They will appoint for themselves a single leader and will take dominion over[e] the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel. [f]So call your brothers ‘Ammi,’[g] and your sisters ‘Ruhamah.’”[h]
