Habakkuk 2:2-4
New American Standard Bible
2 Then the Lord answered me and said,
“(A)Write down the vision
And inscribe it clearly on tablets,
So that one who [a]reads it may run.
3 For the vision is yet for the (B)appointed time;
It [b]hurries toward the goal and it will not [c]fail.
Though it delays, (C)wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it (D)will not delay long.
4 “Behold, as for the (E)impudent one,
His soul is not right within him;
But the (F)righteous one will live by his [d]faith.

New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so that a runner may read it.(A)
3 For there is still a vision for the appointed time;
it speaks of the end and does not lie.
If it seems to tarry, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.(B)
4 Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faithfulness.(C)
