21 But (A)the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and (B)gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison. 22 And the warden of the prison [a](C)put Joseph in charge of all the prisoners who were in the prison; so that whatever was done there, he was [b]responsible for it. 23 (D)The warden of the prison did not supervise anything [c]under Joseph’s authority, because (E)the Lord was with him; and, (F)the Lord made whatever he did prosper.

21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love; he gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer.(A) 22 The chief jailer committed to Joseph’s care all the prisoners who were in the prison, and whatever was done there, he was the one who did it.(B) 23 The chief jailer paid no heed to anything that was in Joseph’s care because the Lord was with him, and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.(C)
