Genesis 27:41-28:5

41 Then Esau held a grudge against Jacob on account of the blessing with which his father had blessed him. And Esau said in his heart,[a] “The days of mourning for my father are coming, then I will kill Jacob my brother.” 42 But the words of Esau her older son were told to Rebekah. And she sent and called for her younger son Jacob. And she said to him, “Look, Esau your brother is consoling himself concerning you, intending to kill you. 43 Now then, my son, listen to my voice; arise and flee to Haran to Laban my brother. 44 Stay with him a few days until the wrath of your brother has turned— 45 until the anger of your brother turns from you and he has forgotten what you have done to him. Then I will send and bring you from there. Why should I lose the two of you in one day?” 46 Then Rebekah said to Isaac, “I loathe my life because of the Hittite women.[b] If Jacob takes a wife from Hittite women[c] like these, from the native women,[d] what am I living for?”[e]
Jacob Flees to Haran
28 Then Isaac called Jacob and blessed him. And he instructed him and said to him, “You must not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan. 2 Arise, go to Paddan-Aram, to the house of Bethuel, your mother’s father, and take for yourself a wife from there, from the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother. 3 Now, may El-Shaddai[f] bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, so that you become an assembly of peoples. 4 And may he give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your descendants with you, that you may take possession of the land of your sojourning, which God gave to Abraham.” 5 Then Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan-Aram, to Laban the son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.

International Standard Version
41 So Esau harbored animosity toward Jacob because of the way his father had blessed him. Esau kept saying to himself,[a] “The time[b] to mourn for my father is very near. That’s when I’m going to kill my brother Jacob.”
42 Eventually, what Rebekah’s older son Esau had been saying was reported to her, so she sent for her younger son Jacob and warned him, “Look! Your brother is planning to get even by killing you.[c] 43 Son, you’d better do what I say! Get up, run off to my brother Laban in Haran, 44 and stay there with him a few days until your brother’s fury subsides.[d] 45 After that happens[e] and he has forgotten what you’ve done to him, I’ll send for you so you can return from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?”
46 Rebekah also told herself,[f] “Heth’s daughters are making me tired of living. If Jacob marries one of Heth’s daughters, and she turns out to be just like these other local women,[g] what kind of life would there be left for me?”
Isaac Sends Jacob to Paddan-aram
28 Later, Isaac called Jacob and blessed him, instructing him, “Don’t marry a wife from the local Canaanite women. 2 Instead, get up, travel to Paddan-aram,[h] and visit the household of Bethuel, your mother’s father. Marry one of Laban’s daughters, since he’s your mother’s brother. 3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful so that your descendants[i] become a whole group of people. 4 May he give you and your descendants the blessings that he gave Abraham. May you possess the land where you have lived[j] that God gave to Abraham.”
5 So Isaac sent Jacob off toward Paddan-aram[k] to visit Bethuel’s son Laban, the Aramean[l] and brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.
