Ezekiel 30:13-19
World English Bible
13 “‘The Lord Yahweh says:
“I will also destroy the idols,
and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis.
There will be no more a prince from the land of Egypt.
I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
14 I will make Pathros desolate,
and will set a fire in Zoan,
and will execute judgments on No.
15 I will pour my wrath on Sin,
the stronghold of Egypt.
I will cut off the multitude of No.
16 I will set a fire in Egypt
Sin will be in great anguish.
No will be broken up.
Memphis will have adversaries in the daytime.
17 The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth will fall by the sword.
They will go into captivity.
18 At Tehaphnehes also the day will withdraw itself,
when I break the yokes of Egypt, there.
The pride of her power will cease in her.
As for her, a cloud will cover her,
and her daughters will go into captivity.
19 Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt.
Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”’”

English Standard Version
13 “Thus says the Lord God:
(A)“I will destroy the idols
and put an end to the images in (B)Memphis;
(C)there shall no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt;
so (D)I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
14 I will make (E)Pathros a desolation
and will set fire to (F)Zoan
(G)and will execute judgments on (H)Thebes.
15 And I will pour out my wrath on Pelusium,
the stronghold of Egypt,
and cut off the multitude[a] of Thebes.
16 And I will set fire to Egypt;
Pelusium shall be in great agony;
Thebes shall be breached,
and (I)Memphis shall face enemies[b] by day.
17 The young men of On and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword,
and the women[c] shall go into captivity.
18 At (J)Tehaphnehes (K)the day shall be dark,
when I break there the yoke bars of Egypt,
and (L)her proud might shall come to an end in her;
she shall be covered by a cloud,
and her daughters shall go into captivity.
19 Thus (M)I will execute judgments on Egypt.
(N)Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
