Ezekiel 2:9-3:3
New American Standard Bible
9 Then I looked, and behold, a (A)hand was extended to me; and behold, a [a](B)scroll was in it. 10 When He spread it out before me, it was written on the front and back, and written on it were songs of mourning, sighing, and (C)woe.
Ezekiel’s Commission
3 Then He said to me, “Son of man, eat what you find; (D)eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” 2 So I (E)opened my mouth, and He fed me this scroll. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your stomach and (F)fill your [b]body with this scroll which I am giving you.” Then I (G)ate it, and it was as sweet as (H)honey in my mouth.

New International Version
9 Then I looked, and I saw a hand(A) stretched out to me. In it was a scroll,(B) 10 which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.(C)
3 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.
3 Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate(D) it, and it tasted as sweet as honey(E) in my mouth.
