40 “For on my holy mountain,[a] on the mountain of the height of Israel,” declares[b] the Lord Yahweh, “there all of the house of Israel will serve me, all of them,[c] in the land. I will take pleasure in them, and there I will accept your contributions and the best of your portions with all of your holy objects. 41 I will accept you as a fragrant incense offering[d] when I bring you out from the peoples and I gather you from the lands to which you were scattered, and I will show myself holy among you before the eyes of the nations. 42 And you will know that I am Yahweh when I bring you to the land of Israel, to the land that I swore[e] to give to your ancestors. 43 And you will remember there your ways, and all of your deeds by which you were made unclean,[f] and you will feel a loathing for yourself[g] for all of your evils that you have done. 44 And you will know that I am Yahweh when I deal with you[h] for the sake of my name and not according to your evil ways[i] or according to[j] your corrupted deeds, house of Israel,” declares[k] the Lord Yahweh.

40 For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve me in the land: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the [a]first-fruits of your [b]oblations, with all your holy things. 41 [c]As a sweet savor will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations. 42 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country which I [d]sware to give unto your fathers. 43 And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have polluted yourselves; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed. 44 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have dealt with you for my name’s sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
