Ezekiel 1:25-28
New American Standard Bible
25 And a voice came from above the (A)expanse that was over their heads; whenever they stood still, they let down their wings.
26 Now (B)above the expanse that was over their heads there was something (C)resembling a throne, like [a](D)lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a (E)man. 27 Then I [b]noticed from the appearance of His waist and upward something (F)like gleaming [c]metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. 28 Like the appearance of the (G)rainbow [d]in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the (H)glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I (I)fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

25 And there came a voice from above the dome over their heads; when they stopped, they let down their wings.
26 And above the dome over their heads there was something like a throne, in appearance like sapphire,[a] and seated above the likeness of the throne was something that seemed like a human form.(A) 27 Upward from what appeared like the loins I saw something like gleaming amber, something that looked like fire enclosed all around, and downward from what looked like the loins I saw something that looked like fire, and there was a splendor all around.(B) 28 Like the bow in a cloud on a rainy day, such was the appearance of the splendor all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of someone speaking.(C)
