Ezekiel 1:25-28

25 A voice came from above the expanse over their heads; when they stopped, they lowered their wings. 26 Something like a throne with the appearance of lapis lazuli was above the expanse over their heads.(A) On the throne, high above, was someone who looked like a human.(B) 27 From what seemed to be his waist up, I saw a gleam like amber, with what looked like fire enclosing it all around.(C) From what seemed to be his waist down, I also saw what looked like fire. There was a brilliant light all around him. 28 The appearance of the brilliant light all around was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day.(D) This was the appearance of the likeness of the Lord’s glory.(E) When I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.(F)

25 And there came a voice from above (A)the expanse over their heads. When they stood still, they let down their wings.
26 And above the expanse over their heads there was (B)the likeness of a throne, (C)in appearance (D)like sapphire;[a] and seated above the likeness of a throne was (E)a likeness with a human appearance. 27 And (F)upward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were (G)gleaming metal, like the appearance of fire enclosed all around. And downward from what had the appearance of his waist I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and (H)there was brightness around him.[b] 28 Like the appearance of (I)the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around.
Such was the appearance of the likeness of (J)the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, (K)I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
