Exodus 20:24-26

24 An altar of (A)earth you shall make for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, (B)your sheep and your oxen. In every (C)place where I [a]record My name I will come to you, and I will (D)bless you. 25 And (E)if you make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone; for if you (F)use your tool on it, you have profaned it. 26 Nor shall you go up by steps to My altar, that your (G)nakedness may not be exposed on it.’

24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto Me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings and thy peace offerings, thy sheep and thine oxen. In all places where I record My name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
25 And if thou wilt make Me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto Mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon.’
