³¹ Jehoahaz^(A) was^(B) twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hamutal^(C) daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah. ³² He did what was evil in the Lord’s sight just as his ancestors had done.^{(D) 33} Pharaoh Neco imprisoned him at Riblah^(E) in the land of Hamath^(F) to keep him from reigning in Jerusalem, and he imposed on the land a fine of seventy-five hundred pounds^[a] of silver and seventy-five pounds^[b] of gold.
