2 Kings 19:35-37

35 (A)Then it happened that night that the angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of [a]the 185,000 were [b]dead. 36 So (B)Sennacherib the king of Assyria departed and [c]returned home, and lived at (C)Nineveh. 37 Then it came about, as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, that [d](D)Adrammelech and Sharezer killed him with the sword; and they escaped to (E)the land of Ararat. And his son (F)Esarhaddon became king in his place.

Sennacherib’s Defeat and Death
35 And that night the angel of the Lord went forth, and slew a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies. 36 Then Sennach′erib king of Assyria departed, and went home, and dwelt at Nin′eveh. 37 And as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adram′melech and Share′zer, his sons, slew him with the sword, and escaped into the land of Ararat. And Esarhad′don his son reigned in his stead.
