Death of Solomon
29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, from first to last, are they not written in the history of the prophet Nathan and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite and in the visions of the seer Iddo concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat?(A) 30 Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.(B) 31 Solomon slept with his ancestors and was buried in the city of his father David, and his son Rehoboam succeeded him.(C)

29 The remaining events(A) of Solomon’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in the Events of Nathan the Prophet, the Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and the Visions of Iddo the Seer concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat.(B) 30 Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel for 40 years. 31 Solomon rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David.(C) His son Rehoboam became king in his place.
