I am not just asserting these things (A)according to human judgment, am I? Or does the Law not say these things as well? For it is written in the Law of Moses: “(B)You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing.” God is not concerned about (C)oxen, is He? 10 Or is He speaking entirely for our sake? Yes, it was written (D)for our sake, because (E)the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing in the crops. 11 (F)If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12 If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we (G)did not use this right, but we endure all things (H)so that we will cause no hindrance to the (I)gospel of Christ.

Does Not The Law Say This Very Thing?

I am not speaking these things according to [mere] human thinking[a], am I ? Or does not the Law also say these things? For in the Law of Moses it has been written [in Deut 25:4], “You shall not muzzle a threshing ox”. God is not concerned about the oxen[b], is He? 10 Or is He surely speaking for our sake? Indeed it was written for our sake— because[c] the one plowing ought to plow on the basis of hope, and the one threshing to thresh on the basis of hope that he might partake.

I Do Have This Right Over You

11 If we sowed spiritual things to you, is it a great thing if we shall reap fleshly[d] things from you? 12 If others partake of this right over you, should we not more?

But I Chose Not To Make Use Of This Right So As Not To Hinder The Gospel

Nevertheless, we did not make-use-of [e] this right. But we are bearing[f] all things, in order that we might not give any hindrance to the good-news of Christ.
