Psalm 94:11-23

New International Version

¹¹ The Lord knows all human plans;^(A)
    he knows that they are futile.^(B)

¹² Blessed is the one you discipline,^(C) Lord,
    the one you teach^(D) from your law;
¹³ you grant them relief from days of trouble,^(E)
    till a pit^(F) is dug for the wicked.
¹⁴ For the Lord will not reject his people;^(G)
    he will never forsake his inheritance.
¹⁵ Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,^(H)
    and all the upright in heart^(I) will follow it.

¹⁶ Who will rise up^(J) for me against the wicked?
    Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?^(K)
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,^(L)
    I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.^(M)
18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,^(N)”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
¹⁹ When anxiety^(O) was great within me,
    your consolation^(P) brought me joy.

²⁰ Can a corrupt throne^(Q) be allied with you—
    a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?^(R)
21 The wicked band together^(S) against the righteous
    and condemn the innocent^(T) to death.^(U)
22 But the Lord has become my fortress,
    and my God the rock^(V) in whom I take refuge.^(W)
23 He will repay^(X) them for their sins
    and destroy^(Y) them for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will destroy them.
