²² Moses said, ‘^(A)The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your countrymen; to Him you shall listen regarding everything He says to you.

^23 (A)And it shall be that every ^(B)soul that does not listen to that prophet ^(C)shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

God’s Final Word in His Son

1 God, after He ^(A)spoke long ago to the fathers in ^(B)the prophets in many portions and ^(C)in many ways,

^2 [a](A)in these last days ^(B)has spoken to us ^[b]in His ^(C)Son, whom He appointed ^(D)heir of all things, ^(E)through whom He also made the ^[c](F)world.

¹⁵ and that ^(A)from childhood you have known ^(B)the sacred writings which are able to ^(C)give you the wisdom that leads to ^(D)salvation through faith which is in ^(E)Christ Jesus. ^16 (F)All Scripture is ^[a]inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for ^[b]rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; ¹⁷ so that ^(G)the man or woman of God may be ^[c]fully capable, ^(H)equipped for every good work.

²⁰ For ^(A)as many as the promises of God are, ^(B)in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is ^(C)our Amen to the glory of God through us.
