¹⁷ For this reason I ^(A)have sent to you ^(B)Timothy, who is my ^(C)beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, ^(D)just as I teach everywhere in every church.

³³ for God is not a God of ^(A)confusion, but of peace.

As in ^(B)all the churches of the ^[a](C)saints,

³⁶ Or was it from you that the word of God first went out? Or has it come to you only?

16 Now concerning ^(A)the collection for ^[a](B)the saints, as ^(C)I directed the churches of ^(D)Galatia, so you are to do as well.

²⁰ teaching them to ^[a]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, ^(A)I am with you ^[b]always, to ^(B)the end of the age.”

¹⁵ but ^[a]in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one should act in ^(A)the household of God, which is the ^(B)church of ^(C)the living God, the ^(D)pillar and support of the truth.

^13 (A)I direct you in the presence of God, who ^[a]gives life to all things, and of ^(B)Christ Jesus, who testified the ^(C)good confession ^(D)before Pontius Pilate, ¹⁴ that you keep the commandment without ^[b]fault or reproach until the ^(E)appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁸ I testify to everyone who hears ^(A)the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone ^(B)adds to them, God will add to him ^(C)the plagues that are written in ^(D)this book; ¹⁹ and if anyone ^(E)takes away from the ^(F)words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from ^(G)the tree of life and ^[a]from the holy city, ^(H)which are written in this book.

⁶ Therefore, as you have received ^(A)Christ Jesus the Lord, so ^[a](B)walk in Him,
