⁵⁵ And many women were there beholding from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: ⁵⁶ among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of ^[a]James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

⁴⁰ And there were also women beholding from afar: among whom were both Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of ^[a]James the ^[b]less and of Joses, and Salome; ⁴¹ who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him; and many other women that came up with him unto Jerusalem.

⁴⁹ And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed with him from Galilee, stood afar off, seeing these things.

²⁵ These things therefore the soldiers did. But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. ²⁶ When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold, thy son! ²⁷ Then saith he to the disciple, Behold, thy mother! And from that hour the disciple took her unto his own home.
