The Lord Comes and Reigns

14 A day of the Lord^(A) is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions^(B) will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.

² I will gather all the nations^(C) to Jerusalem to fight against it;^(D) the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped.^(E) Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.^(F)

²⁰ “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies,^(A) you will know that its desolation is near.

²⁴ They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled^(A) on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Judgment of Satan

⁷ When the thousand years are over,^(A) Satan will be released from his prison ⁸ and will go out to deceive the nations^(B) in the four corners of the earth^(C)—Gog and Magog^(D)—and to gather them for battle.^(E) In number they are like the sand on the seashore.^{(F) 9} They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded^(G) the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.^(H) But fire came down from heaven^(I) and devoured them.
