Romans 8:20-23
English Standard Version
20 For the creation (A)was subjected to futility, not willingly, but (B)because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that (C)the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that (D)the whole creation (E)has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have (F)the firstfruits of the Spirit, (G)groan inwardly as (H)we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, (I)the redemption of our bodies.

20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it,(A) in hope 21 that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay(B) and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.(C)
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning(D) as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,(E) groan(F) inwardly as we wait eagerly(G) for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.(H)
