Romans 2:5-8

⁵ Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath^(A) for yourself in the day of wrath,^(B) when God’s righteous judgment is revealed. ⁶ He will repay each one according to his works:^{[a](C) 7} eternal life^(D) to those who by persistence in doing good^(E) seek glory, honor,^(F) and immortality;^{(G) 8} but wrath and anger to those who are self-seeking^(H) and disobey the truth^(I) while obeying unrighteousness.
