²⁰ For ^(A)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ^(B)being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse. ²¹ For even though they knew God, they did not ^[a]honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became ^(C)futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened. ^22 (D)Claiming to be wise, they became fools,

⁴ for the ^(A)weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but ^[a]divinely powerful ^(B)for the destruction of fortresses. ⁵ We are destroying arguments and all ^(C)arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the ^(D)obedience of Christ,
