Psalm 32:6-11
New International Version
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;(A)
surely the rising(B) of the mighty waters(C)
will not reach them.(D)
7 You are my hiding place;(E)
you will protect me from trouble(F)
and surround me with songs of deliverance.(G)
8 I will instruct(H) you and teach you(I) in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on(J) you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle(K)
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,(L)
but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts(M) in him.
11 Rejoice in the Lord(N) and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
