⁴Even in darkness light dawns^(A) for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.^(B)

⁷He will not fear bad news;
his heart is confident, trusting in the Lord.^(A)

⁷They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast,^(A) trusting in the Lord.^(B)
