6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you prosper;(A)
7 may there be peace within your walls,
prosperity within your fortresses.”(B)
8 Because of my brothers and friends,
I will say, “Peace be with you.”(C)
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your good.(D)
