120 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Lè m' te nan tray, mwen te rele Seyè a, li te reponn mwen.
2 Delivre m' non, Seyè, anba moun k'ap bay manti, anba moun k'ap twonpe moun.
3 Ipokrit, kisa ou merite Bondye fè ou? Kisa pou l' fè ou an plis?
4 Eske se avèk flèch pwenti sòlda yo? Eske se avèk chabon gayak tou limen?
5 ¶ Malè pou mwen, paske se tankou si m' te rete nan mitan moun peyi Mechèk, osinon nan mitan moun peyi Keda.
6 Mwen rete twò lontan ak yon bann moun ki pa renmen viv ak kè poze!
7 Lè mwen menm m'ap pale yo jan pou yo viv byen yonn ak lòt, yo menm se yon sèl bagay ki nan tèt yo, se fè lagè.
121 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Mwen leve je m', mwen gade mòn yo, mwen di: -Ki bò m'a jwenn sekou?
2 Sekou mwen soti nan men Seyè a. Se li menm ki fè syèl la ak latè a.
3 Li p'ap kite pye ou chape, moun k'ap veye sou ou a p'ap janm dòmi.
4 Moun k'ap veye sou pèp Izrayèl la p'ap kabicha, li p'ap dòmi.
5 Se Seyè a k'ap veye sou ou, l'ap kanpe bò dwat ou tankou lonbraj ou. Se li ki tout pwoteksyon ou.
6 Lajounen, solèy la p'ap fè ou anyen, lannwit, lalin lan p'ap fè ou anyen.
7 Seyè a ap pwoteje ou pou anyen pa rive ou, li p'ap kite anyen rive ou.
8 L'ap pwoteje ou kit w'ap antre, kit w'ap soti, depi koulye a ak pou tout tan.
122 ¶ Se yon chante David pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Ala kontan mwen te kontan lè yo di m': -Ann ale lakay Seyè a.
2 Koulye a, men li: nou rive devan pòtay lavil Jerizalèm.
3 Jerizalèm, ou se yon lavil yo rebati, yon lavil kote tout bagay byen ranje.
4 Se la tout branch fanmi yo ap vin sanble. Tout branch fanmi pèp Seyè a, se la y'ap vini pou di Seyè a mèsi, jan li te ba yo lòd pou yo fè a.
5 Se la pitit pitit David yo rete pou yo dirije, pou yo gouvènen pep la.
6 ¶ Lapriyè Bondye pou pa gen dezòd lavil Jerizalèm ankò. Se pou tout moun ki renmen ou yo viv ak kè poze.
7 Se pou pa gen lagè sou ranpa lavil la. Se pou nan palè wa a tout moun viv ak kè poze.
8 Poutèt fanmi m' yo ak zanmi m' yo, m'ap di: -Benediksyon Bondye sou lavil la!
9 Poutèt kay Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ki nan lavil la, m'ap mande Bondye pou fè kè ou kontan.
123 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Ou menm ki chita sou fotèy ou nan syèl la ap gouvènen, se bò kote ou mwen leve je mwen.
2 Menm jan domestik la ap gade sou mèt li, menm jan sèvant la ap gade sou metrès li, se konsa m'ap gade sou Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jouk l'a gen pitye pou nou.
3 Gen pitye pou nou, Seyè, gen pitye pou nou, paske nou sibi kont nou anba moun k'ap meprize nou yo.
4 Moun ki alèz yo pase nou nan kont betiz. Moun k'ap gonfle lestonmak yo sou moun ap foule nou anba pye yo.
124 ¶ Se yon chante David pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Si Seyè a pa t' kanpe pou nou, ki jan sa ta ye! Se pou pèp Izrayèl la rekonèt sa.
2 Wi, si Seyè a pa t' kanpe pou nou, lè moun yo te leve dèyè nou an,
3 yo ta vale nou tou vivan, lè yo te move sou nou an.
4 Dlo ta kouvri nou, lavalas ta pase sou nou.
5 Wi, lavalas ta pote nou ale.
6 ¶ Ann fè lwanj Seyè a ki pa kite lènmi nou yo devore nou.
7 Nou chape tankou yon ti zwezo ki chape soti nan pèlen chasè. Fil pèlen an kase. Nou chape, n' ale.
8 Se Seyè a k'ap pote nou sekou, se li menm ki fè syèl la ak latè a.
125 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Moun ki mete konfyans yo nan Seyè a, yo tankou mòn Siyon an. Tankou l', yo p'ap janm brannen, y'ap la pou tout tan.
2 Menm jan mòn sou rebò lavil Jerizalèm yo pwoteje lavil la, se konsa Seyè a ap pwoteje pèp li a depi koulye a ak pou tout tan.
3 Non. Mechan yo p'ap gouvènen pou tout tan sou peyi ki pou moun k'ap mache dwat yo. Si se pa sa, moun k'ap mache dwat yo ka rive fè sa ki mal.
4 ¶ Seyè, aji byen avèk moun k'ap fè byen, avèk moun k'ap mennen yon lavi san repwòch.
5 Men, kanta pou moun ki vire do ba ou yo pou swiv chemen kwochi, se pou ou disparèt yo ansanm ak tout moun k'ap fè mechanste. Benediksyon Bondye sou pèp Izrayèl la.
126 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Lè Seyè a te fè moun Siyon yo te depòte yo tounen lakay yo, se tankou si nou te nan rèv: Nou pa t' vle kwè se te vre!
2 Ala ri nou te ri! Ala chante nou te chante tèlman nou te kontan! Lè sa a, lòt nasyon yo t'ap di: -Seyè a fè anpil bèl bagay pou yo!
3 Wi, li tè fè anpil bèl bagay pou nou, sa te fè kè nou kontan anpil.
4 ¶ Seyè, tanpri, fè moun yo te fè prizonye yo tounen nan peyi yo, menm jan lapli ou fè larivyè ki te sèk la koule ankò.
5 Moun ki simen ak dlo nan je ap rekòlte ak kè kontan.
6 Moun ki t'ap kriye lè yo t'aprale avèk grenn pou yo simen nan jaden yo, y'ap tounen ak bèl chante nan bouch yo sitèlman yo kontan lè y'ap pote rekòt la lakay yo.
127 ¶ Se yon chante Salomon pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Si se pa Seyè a ki bati kay la, travay moun k'ap bati yo pa vo anyen. Si se pa Seyè a k'ap pwoteje lavil la, travay moun k'ap veye yo pa vo anyen.
2 Sa pa vo lapenn pou nou leve granmaten, pou nou kouche ta, pou nou travay di pou n' ka manje, paske, lè Bondye renmen yon moun, li ba li tout bagay pandan l'ap dòmi.
3 Pitit se kado Bondye bay, se yon rekonpans pou manman ak papa.
4 Menm jan yon sòlda santi li gen kouraj lè l' gen zam li nan men l', se menm jan an tou pou yon moun ki fè pitit gason depi lè l' te jenn.
5 Ala bon sa bon pou moun ki gen anpil zam konsa! Li p'ap janm wont lè li kanpe nan pòtay lavil la pou l' diskite ak moun k'ap chache l' kont.
128 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Ala bon sa bon pou ou, ou menm ki gen krentif pou Seyè a, ou menm k'ap mache nan chemen li mete devan ou lan!
2 Avèk travay ou fè ak men ou, w'ap jwenn manje pou ou manje, w'ap kontan, zafè ou ap mache byen.
3 Madanm ou ap tankou yon pye rezen k'ap donnen anndan kay ou. Pitit gason ou yo ap tankou jenn ti plant oliv tout arebò tab ou.
4 Se konsa Seyè a ap beni moun ki gen krentif pou li!
5 Se pou Seyè a rete sou mòn Siyon an pou l' beni ou! Mwen mande l' pou l' fè ou wè lavil Jerizalèm rete kanpe jouk jou ou mouri.
6 Mwen mande l' pou l' fè ou wè pitit pitit ou yo! Benediksyon Bondye sou pèp Izrayèl la!
129 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Nou menm, pèp Izrayèl se pou nou rekonèt sa: Yo te fè nou pase kont mizè nou depi nou te jenn.
2 Wi, depi nou te jenn, yo te fè nou pase kont mizè nou, men yo pa t' janm rive mete pye sou kou nou.
3 Yo tonbe sou do nou, ou ta di moun k'ap bat tè pou plante.
4 Men, Seyè a pa nan patipri, li koupe kòd mechan yo te pase nan kou nou.
5 ¶ Moun ki pa vle wè moun Siyon yo, se pou yo wont, se pou yo fè bak.
6 Se pou yo tankou plant k'ap pouse arebò glasi: y'ap cheche anvan menm yo donnen.
7 Moun k'ap ranmase rekòt p'ap okipe yo menm, moun k'ap antre rekòt la p'ap mete yo nan pakèt li.
8 Moun k'ap pase bò la yo p'ap di: -Se pou Seyè a beni nou! N'ap beni ou nan non Seyè a!
130 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Nan mizè mwen ye a, Seyè, m'ap rele nan pye ou.
2 Seyè, koute m' non! Panche zòrèy ou pou ou tande jan m'ap lapriyè nan pye ou.
3 Si ou t'ap make tout zak nou fè, Seyè, ki moun ki ta ka leve tèt devan ou?
4 Men, ou padonnen nou, pou n' ka respekte ou.
5 ¶ Mwen mete tout espwa m' nan Seyè a, mwen mete espwa m' nan sa li di.
6 N'ap tann Seyè a, tankou faksyonnè k'ap tann solèy leve, wi, tankou faksyonnè k'ap tann solèy leve!
7 Nou menm pèp Izrayèl, mete tout espwa nou nan Seyè a, paske li renmen nou anpil. Li toujou pare pou delivre.
8 Se li menm ki va delivre pèp Izrayèl la anba tout mechanste yo fè yo.
131 ¶ Se yon chante David pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Seyè, mwen pa gen lògèy nan kè mwen. Mwen pa gade moun avèk awogans. Mwen pa enterese nan bagay ki twò fò pou mwen, nan bagay ki twò difisil pou m' konprann.
2 Mwen rete tou dousman, byen trankil tankou yon timoun sevre ki rete byen dousman sou janm manman l'. Wi, tankou yon timoun sevre, se konsa mwen rete dousman.
3 Nou menm pèp Izrayèl, mete tout espwa nou nan Seyè a, depi koulye a ak pou tout tan.
132 ¶ Se yon chante pou yo chante lè y'ap moute lavil Jerizalèm. Seyè, pa bliye David. Chonje tout traka li te bay tèt li pou ou.
2 Seyè, chonje sèman li te fè ou, pwomès li te fè ou, ou menm Bondye Jakòb la ki gen fòs, lè l' te di:
3 -Mwen p'ap antre nan kay kote m' rete a, mwen p'ap moute kouche sou kabann mwen,
4 mwen p'ap bay kò m' repo, mwen p'ap fèmen je m',
5 toutotan mwen pa jwenn yon kote pou Seyè a, yon kay pou Bondye Jakòb la ki gen fòs ka rete.
6 Nou te tande Bwat Kontra a te lavil Efrata. Men, nou jwenn li nan jaden Jearim yo.
7 Ann al lakay Seyè a. Ann al devan fotèy li pou n' adore l'.
8 Leve non, Seyè, vin kote pou ou pran repo a. Vini non ansanm ak Bwat Kontra ou la ki fè nou wè jan ou gen pouvwa.
9 Se pou prèt yo fè konnen jan ou bay pèp ou a delivrans. Se pou tout pèp ou a rele sitèlman yo kontan.
10 Poutèt pwomès ou te fè David, sèvitè ou la, tanpri, Seyè, pa vire do bay moun ou te chwazi a.
11 ¶ Seyè a te fè David, sèvitè li a, yon pwomès, l'ap toujou kenbe pawòl li: Se yonn nan pitit ou yo m'ap mete chita sou fotèy ou a.
12 Si pitit ou yo kenbe kontra mwen fè ak yo a, si yo kenbe prensip mwen ba yo, pitit pa yo tou va toujou chita son fotèy ou a.
13 Seyè a te chwazi mòn Siyon, se la li vle bati kay li.
14 Se la mwen chwazi pou m' toujou pran repo, se la m'ap rete, paske se sa mwen vle.
15 M'a voye benediksyon sou tou sa li bezwen pou l' viv. M'a bay pòv li yo manje plen vant yo.
16 M'a delivre prèt li yo, m'a fè tout pèp Bondye a rele sitèlman yo kontan.
17 Se la m'ap fè yonn nan pitit David yo tounen yon gwo wa. Mwen p'ap kite limyè a soti nan fanmi moun mwen chwazi a.
18 M'ap fè lènmi l' yo wont, kouwòn ki sou tèt li a ap toujou rete byen klere.

1 I call on the Lord(A) in my distress,(B)
and he answers me.
2 Save me, Lord,
from lying lips(C)
and from deceitful tongues.(D)
3 What will he do to you,
and what more besides,
you deceitful tongue?
4 He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows,(E)
with burning coals of the broom bush.
5 Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek,
that I live among the tents of Kedar!(F)
6 Too long have I lived
among those who hate peace.
7 I am for peace;
but when I speak, they are for war.
Psalm 121

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven(G) and earth.(H)
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(I) over Israel

1 I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet are standing
in your gates, Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem is built like a city
that is closely compacted together.
4 That is where the tribes go up—
the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
5 There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love(N) you be secure.
7 May there be peace(O) within your walls
and security within your citadels.(P)”
8 For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity.(Q)
Psalm 123

1 I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned(R) in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord(S) our God,
till he shows us his mercy.
3 Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us,
for we have endured no end of contempt.

of ridicule from the arrogant,
of contempt from the proud.

1 If the Lord had not been on our side—

both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter(AE) of the wicked will not remain(AF)
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.(AG)
4 Lord, do good(AH) to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.(AI)
5 But those who turn(AJ) to crooked ways(AK)
the Lord will banish(AL) with the evildoers.

Psalm 128

1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,(BJ)
who walk in obedience to him.(BK)

blessings and prosperity(BM) will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine(BN)
within your house;
your children(BO) will be like olive shoots(BP)
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing(BQ)
for the man who fears the Lord.(BR)
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion;(BS)
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem(BT)

Psalm 129

1 “They have greatly oppressed(BW) me from my youth,”(BX)
let Israel say;(BY)
2 “they have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
but they have not gained the victory(BZ) over me.
3 Plowmen have plowed my back
and made their furrows long.
4 But the Lord is righteous;(CA)
he has cut me free(CB) from the cords of the wicked.”(CC)
5 May all who hate Zion(CD)
be turned back in shame.(CE)
6 May they be like grass on the roof,(CF)
which withers(CG) before it can grow;
7 a reaper cannot fill his hands with it,(CH)
nor one who gathers fill his arms.
8 May those who pass by not say to them,
“The blessing of the Lord be on you;

1 Out of the depths(CJ) I cry to you,(CK) Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice.(CL)
Let your ears be attentive(CM)
to my cry for mercy.(CN)
3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,
Lord, who could stand?(CO)

so that we can, with reverence, serve you.(CQ)

A song of ascents.
1 Lord, remember David
and all his self-denial.(DK)
2 He swore an oath to the Lord,
he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:(DL)
3 “I will not enter my house(DM)
or go to my bed,
4 I will allow no sleep to my eyes
or slumber to my eyelids,

do not reject your anointed one.
11 The Lord swore an oath to David,(DV)
a sure oath he will not revoke:
“One of your own descendants(DW)
I will place on your throne.
12 If your sons keep my covenant(DX)
and the statutes I teach them,
then their sons will sit
on your throne(DY) for ever and ever.”
13 For the Lord has chosen Zion,(DZ)
he has desired it for his dwelling,(EA) saying,
14 “This is my resting place for ever and ever;(EB)
here I will sit enthroned,(EC) for I have desired it.
15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
her poor I will satisfy with food.(ED)
16 I will clothe her priests(EE) with salvation,
and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.(EF)
