(A)They do all their deeds (B)to be seen by others. For they make (C)their phylacteries broad and (D)their fringes long, and they (E)love the place of honor at feasts and (F)the best seats in the synagogues and (G)greetings in (H)the marketplaces and being called (I)rabbi[a] by others. (J)But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are (K)all brothers.[b] (L)And call no man your father on earth, for (M)you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10 Neither be called instructors, for you have one instructor, (N)the Christ. 11 (O)The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 (P)Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
