Matthew 27:29-33
New American Standard Bible
29 (A)And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a [a]reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “(B)Hail, King of the Jews!” 30 And (C)they spit on Him, and took the reed and beat Him on the head. 31 (D)And after they had mocked Him, they took the cloak off Him and put His own garments back on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.
32 (E)As they were coming out, they found a man of (F)Cyrene named Simon, [b]whom they compelled to carry His [c]cross.

New International Version
29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.(A) 30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.(B) 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.(C)

32 As they were going out,(E) they met a man from Cyrene,(F) named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross.(G) 33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).(H)
