Matthew 21:8-11
New American Standard Bible
8 Most of the crowd (A)spread their cloaks on the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. 9 Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,
“[a]Hosanna to the (B)Son of David;
(C)Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord;
[b]Hosanna (D)in the highest!”
10 When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” 11 And the crowds were saying, “This is (E)Jesus the prophet, from (F)Nazareth in Galilee.”

The Triumphal Entry
12 On the next day, when (A)the large crowd that had come to (B)the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began shouting, “(C)Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, indeed, the (D)King of Israel!” 14 Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: 15 “(E)Do not fear, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” 16 (F)These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus (G)was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things for Him.
