Matthew 6:8-9

⁸Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need^(A) before you ask him.

⁸Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! ⁹Pray like this:

Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.

⁸Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
